I have been trying to get this blog and keep it updated although I have been pretty busy. Working for myself in this economy is NOT easy. And since I am the only provider for Anastasia, if I am not making money, no one else is for us.
So, I hope you bare with me while I work my butt off trying to make some money to get my daughter and I ahead in the world.

Been there Auggie, before I married Sunny I raised my 2 older ones myself. THey are now 27 and 23 and doing well. At times I was pulling my hair out. I wouldn’t trade that experience for any amount of money.

I recently found out that I have a 6 week old son. I voluntarily submitted dna; and, the results show that he is my child. Monday, I am meeting with an attorney to take her to court to acknowledge paternity and possibly get custody. I am looking for God’s strength and wisdom as well as anyone’s good advice.

I am excited and sad for you. Sorry you found out so late and under the (obvious) circumstances. You will find there are a lot of fathers like yourself. This forum: http://www.singlefather.org/forums/index.php has great group of regular posters that have been where you have been and are continually learning and giving advice. I would encourage you to visit there and, if nothing else, just read through some of the posts. I will send you an email as well, please feel free to contact me.
