I have been growing out my hair for a while now. I have always had a military haircut. Very short on the sides and short on top. More of a habit from the 9 years of military and not having to fuss with anything other than long hair.

I decided to grow my hair out a few months ago, and I have been letting the top grow. My barber (ok, hairstylist) has been doing a great job of keeping it workable for me and keeping the sides short still.

Here is my hair brushed down in the front, to show the length. It doesn’t look that long, although this is the longest I think I have EVER let me hair grow.

So I went through the day, no gel, wearing a hat. Been wearing a hat more while letting this mop grow.

Anastasia asked if she could play with my hair tonight. I told her sure. She got the brush and gel and went to work.

So, as I sit, my hair looks like an Elvis, skater, faux mohawk, something. All cause Anastasia decided to have fun with my head tonight…  :D
