A Single Daddy’s Blog

Single Parenting from a Father’s Perspective.

So I am pretty organized. At least I would like to think I am. Although since moving to Arizona I feel like I have not been organized at all.

Starting a business is hard enough, it’s even harder when I can’t get organized. I came across a piece of software today that seems like it will really help. Not only can I organize my business projects, I can even organize Anastasia’s chores and when she does them.

It was originally produced for programmers to organize their program creation tasks. I downloaded it today and I am so happy with it that I decided to share with you about it.

The program is called ToDoList 5.6. It is free. Here is the page for it: ToDoList 5.6

My daughter forgot her library book today.  She decided to call me from school and let me know she forgot it last week and this week also.  I am on the phone with her searching her room and she is directing me to where she *thinks* it is.  Then she tells me to look in her closet.  I opened the door and a bunch of things fell, she has clothes, papers, toys and stuffed animals thrown in there.  No wonder her room looked so clean yesterday.  Guess I need to start checking the closet.

Any way, back to the book.  I didn’t find it.  She told me she would look for it when she gets home.  Umm, YEAH.  And clean out your closet, room and put all this stuff that fell out away.  I didn’t tell her that though, I could tell she was already upset she couldn’t find her book.  I didn’t want her day starting out thinking I was mad at her too.

Oh well, I know what chores she will have when she gets home!
