This is the first year I was with my family on Halloween. Little different, although definitely a good time! Here are the kids ready to go on their quest for candy.

Anastasia and I decided last night it would not be a good idea for her to wear her costume to school today. Every other year she ended up almost destroying her costume before she got home and we had to figure something out for the night Halloween candy hunting.
My sister suggested that she dress as a pirate because she had an old costume laying around.
This morning my sister helped Anastasia get dressed and I think she looks like a GREAT pirate!

Today Anastasia and I went to my older sister’s house because I needed to go to the Apple Store and it is right near her neighborhood. We brought over a Party City costume sales paper to get ideas for a costume. We are toying with the idea of dressing her two kids and Anastasia alike. If the kids can all agree on a theme.
Her kids ended up being out with their dad, so we just stayed for a little while. My sister and I talked about the vacation and then we left.
Sounds like her daughter wants to be something ‘dead’ for Halloween. I laughed when Anastasia heard that and in told me, “I don’t want to be dead.” ;)
Me neither!
