I bought Anastasia a new cool cell phone.

Motorola A1200

I thought it would be cool for her to have a durable phone that is completely customizable. AND I found a PINK housing for it! Good thing I know how to take cell phones apart and put them back together……  Although Anastasia doesn’t… And that is my story here.

I am sure all the parents out there are THRILLED when they get a phone call from their childs teacher. I know I am. Not.

Today I got a call from Anastasia’s teacher. So obviously I knew I it wasn’t because whe was SOooo good that the teacher just had to call me. ;)

So I spent the weekened in Texas with my friend I have talked about in other posts. She is my friend and my love.

Anastasia stayed with my sister in Arizona.  FREE!  Right? For one weekend I would have no responsibilities and be free from parenting. Not exactly.

By the time I reached the airport in Phoenix I was already missing my little girl. I was definitely excited about the weekend ahead although missing my little one.

Anastasia agreed to keep her cell phone close so to her so we could keep in touch through text messaging and calling.

Saturday morning her phone was dead, well or turned off. I tried to call her and it went straight to voice mail. I waited about an hour then called again. Then later on in the day I called my sister because Anastasia still had not texted or called me back.

Turns out Anastasia’s phone was dead and she couldn’t find her charger. So instead of telling someone she let her phone die. I told her she needed to find her charger. So my sister and her looked and she found it.

Funny how as a child so many things are so important. Anastasia had the trust that my sister would have her phone and I would be able to reach her and get to Anastasia at any time.

I’m sure her mind didn’t think that all the way through, although the trust of her Aunt was there, so she didn’t need to worry about her phone.
